Overview: SmartSolve Data Mapping/Reports Boot Camp

Course Description

Reporting capabilities is important for businesses to track and analyze data via reports to help management draw accurate conclusions. Reporting is added value so a company can improve bottom line, identify problematic areas as well as trend issues and improvements within the company. Pilgrim’s Reports Boot Camp helps IT and project managers tackle reporting requirements by looking more closely at SmartSolve® data and how unique reports can easily be built to meet company needs.
This segment of SmartSolve® immersion training will engage participants in a hands-on overview of how to use data definition and entity relationship diagrams to manage data used when building custom reports using any reporting tool (e.g., Crystal, Access, etc.) 

Learning Outcomes

After completing the Boot Camp, SmartSolve® Data Mapping & Report Boot Camp participants will be able to:

• Comprehend overall knowledge of SmartSolve® DDF and ERD diagrams
• Configure a brand new report for SmartSolve®
• Publish SmartSolve® Reports
• Trend and Analyze SmartSolve® Reports
• Create Report Queries

Prerequisites 

Crystal Reports Boot Camp or Strong Knowledge of Crystal Reports 

Method of Evaluating Performance

All participants will perform a series of hands-on exercises within each Lesson Topic.  A final quiz is given at the end of each product Lesson.  The quiz format is open book and answers are discussed at the completion of each quiz by the instructor and the participants.  A Certificate of Completion is administered at the end of the Boot Camp for all participants who were in attendance for the week.
