VitalAire CANADA Selects Pilgrim Software as ECQM System Provider

Tampa, FL – May 13, 2008 -- Pilgrim Software, Inc., a world-leading provider of Enterprise Compliance and Quality Management (ECQM) software solutions, today announced that VitalAire CANADA, a Canadian national provider of respiratory healthcare products and services, has chosen Pilgrim’s corrective and preventive action (CAPA), documentation, and training management systems to help ensure the company’s quality and regulatory compliance.

VitalAire had been operating numerous databases and semi-automated processes for document management, training management and CAPA.  It was seeking an integrated compliance and quality system allowing users to work collaboratively through seamlessly integrated systems in each area through one portal.

VitalAire recognized the need to acquire a collaborative tool that would not only offer document management controls, but also have native tools built in that would enhance communication and work flow. VitalAire embarked on the quest to have multiple vendors conduct a Proof of Concept with its core team and scored each tool according to VitalAire’s business requirements. Pilgrim’s SmartSolve™ solution proved to be superior in the areas of strong regulatory and quality management functionality that was readily configurable rather than built from scratch.

Pilgrim’s SmartTrain module is also a superior product that will allow VitalAire to be proactive and ensure certification compliance on demand. “The functionality will provide our users a single point of control and access to ensure certifications are updated and are synchronized with the most recent versions of regulatory compliance documentation,” said Alice Chen, VitalAire’s Manager of Regulatory Compliance.
