Pilgrim Software Names Elaine Schroeder Vice President of Sales

Tampa, FL – October 26, 2007 -- Pilgrim Software, Inc., a world-leading provider of Enterprise Compliance and Quality Management (ECQM) software solutions, announces the appointment of Elaine Schroeder to Vice President of Sales.  Schroeder, a seasoned sales executive, is responsible for managing all aspects of Pilgrim’s worldwide Sales group.  She brings to this position extensive domestic and international leadership experience in sales, marketing, services and business development, having guided global teams serving the world’s largest pharmaceutical, packaged goods and automotive companies.

As Vice President of Sales for Pilgrim, Schroeder will guide the company in achieving its direct sales revenue goals and established order targets.  She also is responsible for refining, communicating and implementing Pilgrim’s vision, mission, goals and processes within Pilgrim’s Sales division to ensure it is attaining the highest level of success within the global compliance and quality software industry.

Prior to joining Pilgrim Software, while Vice President of Business Development at SciQuest, Inc., a private eCommerce SAAS (Software as a Service) provider, Schroeder established an exemplary record in generating partner revenue. She led the company’s channel partners’ sales in contributing 21% of SciQuest’s revenue in 2005 and 2006.   Previously, Schroeder served as Vice President of Strategic Accounts at MAPICS, INC., a worldwide-leading provider of ERP, Supply Chain and Business Intelligence software solutions for discreet manufacturers, where she led the organization to over 120% annual  growth.  She also had been Group Vice President of Pharmaceuticals and Healthcare at I2 Technologies, Inc., and Vice President of Global Accounts for System Software Associates, Inc.

Schroeder earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Liberty University, and attended its MBA program, as well as the Harvard Business School for Executives program.
