| Pilgrim Software’s Seventh Annual User Conference Inspires Customers in their Pursuit of Excellence |
Tampa, FL – November 17, 2008 -- Pilgrim Software, Inc., a world-leading provider of Enterprise Compliance and Quality Management (ECQM) software solutions, concluded its seventh annual user conference with a sneak preview of the broad range of new products and enhancements that will enable its customers to succeed in their ongoing pursuit of excellence. Record-breaking attendance included global representation of Pilgrim customers from across the Life Sciences and manufacturing industries.
Fusion VII, held at the Marriott Suites on Sand Key, in Clearwater Beach, Florida, Nov. 9-12, drew inspiration from the tremendous achievements of Olympic athletes, and featured a keynote presentation from 1976 Olympic gold medalist Bruce Jenner. In his remarks, Jenner encouraged the audience to continue reaching for the next level of success by making a commitment to excellence.
Under the conference theme, “In Pursuit of Excellence,” Fusion VII featured presentations from a diverse cross-section of leading international industry experts in topics such as Lean Manufacturing, Going Green, GRC, Risk Management, and proven Best Practices presented by Pilgrim’s customers. Audiences uncovered how enterprises worldwide are engaging those practices to accomplish their business objectives. In addition, the event was sponsored by QAD, Cincom, GxP Partners, Virtify, Axway and Working Words to highlight how they can extend the business value of Pilgrim’s solutions, along with media sponsors – Contract Pharma, FDAnews, Medical Device Magazine, Medical Product Outsourcing, Pharmaceutical Online and Quality Magazine.
Learning sessions at Fusion VII were tailored to appeal to users, technical and executive-level attendees. Those individuals were brought together with Pilgrim’s executive, technical, professional services and account executive staff, to gain a comprehensive perspective on the products and services available from Pilgrim Software. The Fusion VII Technology Lab provided hands-on training and mini-workshops conducted by Pilgrim’s implementation and technical support experts. Special interest group sessions provided an opportunity for attendees to meet with other customers in small, interactive groups to discuss their processes, share their best practices, and provide input into future product direction.
