South Texas Blood & Tissue Center currently has very manual and labor intensive processes. The implementation of Pilgrim's Calibration System will dramatically improve managing the equipment calibration and scheduled maintenance.

The South Texas Blood and Tissue Center will also implement additional SmartSolve products that will allow users to initiate corrective and preventive actions, manage internal and external quality assessments, manage documentation, enforce SOPs and record and track employee training and certifications. The use of Pilgrim's integrated SmartSolve modules will ensure that thoroughly-tested, safe blood and blood products are available to the community.
