Tampa, FL – June 20, 2006 – Pilgrim Software, Inc., the leading provider of Enterprise Compliance and Quality Management (ECQM) Solutions, today announced that one of its original customers, S&C Electric, has contracted with Pilgrim to upgrade its existing ECQM database system in an effort to address the company’s recent expansions and advancement of technology. Pilgrim will assist S&C Electric in migrating its data from the Btrieve (Pervasive) database to the Microsoft Sequel (MSSQL) version which S&C currently uses for its ERP system.

In upgrading its system, S&C Electric, a privately held company, aims to increase the scope of assets that are tracked using Pilgrim’s Calibration System at the company’s Chicago and Orlando offices. The company currently manages about 12,000 assets with the system, and will begin using Calibration to manage electrical instruments as well.  With the increase in data stored, S&C chose to migrate information to a more scalable standard database – MicroSoft Sequel (MSSQL).

S&C Electric also has engaged Pilgrim’s solution for calibrating its electrical instruments because the previous software used to calibrate electrical instruments was no longer meeting their needs. The upgrade and conversion will begin later this month.
