The SmartCAPA Boot Camp provides knowledge to customers and partners to help with their implementations and become certified in CAPA. "Students had an opportunity to not only learn about features and functions, but they shared ideas for process improvements based on how each company planned to implement their SmartCAPA system," explained Kim Engler, Pilgrim’s Certification Program Manager.

Attendees built upon their business and CAPA knowledge. The CAPA process was examined in depth to help customers understand application and process options. "The SmartCAPA Boot Camp not only gave me an excellent overview, but also the very powerful 'building blocks' to configure the system to my exact needs. Once I knew those, I knew I could do almost anything in the system," stated Jose Mora, Streale Innovation Consultant.

During Boot Camp students receive immersion training and then apply what they learn during both class and their company projects. A certification examination is included for those students who want to verify their proficiency.

Pilgrim is offering more boot camps this summer to continue with the educational excellence initiative. Boot camps include product specific sessions as well as specialty classes.
