Pilgrim Software, Inc. Named to Software Magazine’s 24th Annual Software 500 List

Tampa, FL – November 17, 2006 –
Pilgrim Software, Inc. announced today that it was again named to Software Magazine’s annual Software 500 List.  This is the seventh consecutive year Pilgrim has made the list.  Pilgrim jumped forward 51 spots from its previous position.  Each year, Software Magazine’s ranking of the world’s foremost software and services providers are published as an online catalog on www.Softwaremag.com

Last year, while overall revenue was flat within the software industry, growth opportunity was seen within package markets, system integration services and infrastructure support. “Overall, total 2006 Software 500 revenue of $380.8 billion worldwide for 2005 represents just under a 1% decline from the previous year when total revenue was $383.3 billion,” said John P. Desmond, editor of Software Magazine and Softwaremag.com. “

Desmond said support for the process and infrastructure around managing content, whether website, catalog, or Pilgrim’s concentration -- document and process management critical to regulated industries -- is an expanding market space.  Employee growth in 2005 was strong in information security (40% increase), human resource management systems (39%), healthcare (23%), content management (22%) and customer relationship management (17%).

The Software 500 is a revenue-based ranking of the world’s largest software and services suppliers targeting medium to large enterprises, their IT professionals, software developers and business managers involved in software and services purchasing. The list includes both private and public companies.  Thirty-seven percent of the 2006 Software 500 companies are private, including Pilgrim.

“We are pleased to have been recognized by Software Magazine for the seventh consecutive year as one of the leading software companies in the world,” said Ami Utji, founder and President of Pilgrim Software.  “By using Pilgrim’s leading-edge software solutions, hundreds of customers globally, and hundreds of thousands of end-users, are meeting the diverse challenges of the world’s highly competitive marketplace.  Each year we continue to enhance our solutions to help those businesses centrally manage their operations and leverage quality improvement processes across their enterprises to achieve faster time-to-market, reduce business risks and increase profits.”

The 24th annual Software 500 ranking is based on total worldwide software and service revenue for 2005. This includes revenues from software licenses, maintenance and support, training and software-related services and consulting. Suppliers are not ranked on their total corporate revenue, since many have other lines of business, such as hardware. The financial information was gathered by a survey prepared by King Content Co. and posted at www.Softwaremag.com, as well as from public documents.
