Pilgrim Software Earns a Microsoft Competency in ISV/Software Solutions

Tampa, FL – July 25, 2005
– Pilgrim Software, Inc., a Microsoft Certified Partner, is recognized for competence and expertise in Microsoft’s products and technologies. Pilgrim’s partnership has expanded to Microsoft Independent Software Vendor (ISV). As one of only twelve strategic Microsoft ISVs for manufacturing, Pilgrim will continue to market and deliver SmartSolve solutions to its customer base leveraging Microsoft’s newest technologies.

“Being an ISV has many advantages that will filter down as benefits to our customers. With the closer relationship with Microsoft, we now have “first mover advantage” and will receive updates on Microsoft’s technology prior to the actual release to the public,” states Nikki Willett, Director of Products for Pilgrim Software. “By aligning our product efforts around the latest Microsoft products and technologies, we can provide newer and better compliance and quality software solutions for our customers.”

The Microsoft ISV program offers certified partner training for sales, marketing and technical personnel. This will affect the quality and continual upgrades to Pilgrim’s solutions, initiate the creation of new products and raise its sales and professional services to an even higher level.

Pilgrim’s SmartSolve solutions, fully web-based and built on Microsoft’s .NET technology, give customers the ability to manage documents, complaints and CAPAs, track personnel training and certifications and be in compliance for audits. Other Pilgrim modules assist in maintaining cost- effective supplier relationships, automate workflows and schedule and alert when equipment calibration is due. Off-the-shelf Validation Packs are also available to reduce the cost of validation and expedite the process.
