This latest version of SmartSolve, a fully integrated, Web-based solution built on the Microsoft .NET framework, offers a number of enhancements to strengthen its functionality, usability, change management capabilities, security, and IT management. The announcement of SmartSolve 7.04 also signifies the world-wide release of the SmartTrain 7.04 application and an enhanced SmartComplaints 2005 program that is now compatible with the latest SmartSolve 7.04 platform.

To better address internationalization within the version 7.04, Pilgrim premieres multi-lingual support of Unicode double-byte languages, such as Japanese, Chinese, and Korean, for display and data entry within one centralized database.  Usability enhancements also provide more intuitive navigation, simplified workflow, expanded search capabilities, flexible document watermarking, and more robust audit trail reporting.

SmartSolve 7.04 also enables greater IT Management at an enterprise view, including improved user management functions, easier LDAP support, audit trail archiving, more efficient deployment migration, and certification of high availability platform environments for improved large-scale performance.

SmartSolve 7.04 is comprised of four core applications: SmartCAPA, SmartDoc, SmartAudit, and SmartTrain. In addition to these services, Pilgrim offers a separate module that integrates with the suite, SmartComplaints 2005 powered by SmartCAPA 7.04, which streamlines the submission and tracking of regulatory reports through automated processes.
