Tampa, FL – December 7, 2005 – As the first step in implementing Pilgrim’s SmartSolve Suite, Millipore Corporation has gone live with Pilgrim’s SmartDoc across divisions located in the United States, France, Ireland, and Japan. SmartDoc provides Millipore with a solution to facilitate compliance for the more than 250 audits performed per year by customers and regulatory agencies requiring critical and fast responses.

Millipore is utilizing Pilgrim’s SmartDoc to facilitate the integration of acquired companies into the parent organization by enforcing SOPs as well as providing access to current documents and data across its sites thus eliminating labor intensive processes.  With all relevant documents centrally organized, Millipore will enhance unification and increase productivity, which will yield more efficient and timely responses to customers and ensure they maintain their well-known reputation as a trustworthy supplier.

Pilgrim’s team was able to implement SmartDoc in five months which is the most rapid and well-organized deployment that Millipore has ever experienced.  Furthermore, Pilgrim’s Professional Services team provided a seamless transition to SmartDoc by migrating 50,000 documents from the legacy document management system.  Millipore is currently in the process of deploying the SmartDoc module at sites in Brazil, India and China as well as rolling out SmartDoc in French and Japanese.
