Tampa, FL – June 30, 2006 --  Pilgrim Software, Inc., a world leading provider of Enterprise Compliance and Quality Management (ECQM) solutions, announced today that GlucoTec, an emerging medical device company, has purchased multiple modules of Pilgrim’s SmartSolve integrated solutions suite.  GlucoTec is preparing to take to market its first product, a software-driven device that manages hyperglycemia, by internally implementing software to support its document management, training systems, CAPA and complaints handling, and supplier tracking and control methods.

GlucoTec was seeking to put a quality and compliance management system in place as it prepares to go to market with its product to ensure it is operating efficiently, cost effectively, and in accordance with FDA regulations.  Recognizing the scalability and integrated nature of Pilgrim’s solution, the company purchased Pilgrim’s SmartDoc, SmartTrain, SmartCAPA, SmartComplaints and Supplier Focus modules. 

Pilgrim’s Emerging Growth program was selected to help GlucoTec keep costs down through a right-first-time approach; to focus resources on defect prevention and elimination; and, to implement closed-loop quality processes to ensure the safety and efficiency of their products.

Further, GlucoTec recognized that Pilgrim’s scalable solutions also offer the flexibility of a staged approach to implementation, allowing emerging companies to stagger technology spending as they grow.
