Tampa, FL – June 12, 2006 – Cubic Defense Applications has purchased the Q&MIS Audit module from Pilgrim Software, a world leader in Enterprise Compliance and Quality Management (ECQM) solutions, to help ensure the company’s government compliance. Cubic Defense Applications, a division of Cubic Corporation (AMEX: CUB), provides instrumented training systems for military forces, avionics, data links, aerospace systems and product logistic support. 

Cubic Defense is implementing the Audit solution as it strives to attain an elevated Capability Maturity Model status.  The Capability Maturity Model for Software (also known as the CMM and SW-CMM) has been a model used by many organizations to identify best practices useful in helping them increase the maturity and quality of their processes.

With the purchase of Pilgrim’s Audit Management module, Cubic Defense will experience further improvement to its mission-critical processes through the use of an integrated Quality Management software solution.  Cubic Defense currently is in the process of attaining CMM Level 3 status and believes Pilgrim’s Audit Management module will help accelerate their achievement.

The Audit solution will be implemented at Cubic’s headquarters in San Diego. Training and installation services provided by Pilgrim’s Technical Services Unit will begin sometime in June.
