Cordis Expands its User Base for Pilgrim Software’s SmartAudit & SmartCAPA Management Solutions

Tampa, FL – February 6, 2007 --
Pilgrim Software, Inc., a world-leading provider of Enterprise Compliance and Quality Management (ECQM) software solutions, today announced that Cordis Corporation, a Johnson & Johnson company, has increased its licensing scope for two integrated Pilgrim products to meet user requirements at its brand-new facility in Cashel, Ireland.  Pilgrim’s SmartAudit and SmartCAPA modules will be deployed at the Cordis production site when it becomes operational within the next 12 months.

Cordis is already using Pilgrim’s Audit and CAPA management solutions at multiple sites worldwide, supporting its internal capabilities for recording audits and resolutions, and further addressing audit detailed investigations through CAPA management procedures. With the addition of SmartAudit and SmartCAPA users in Ireland, Cordis will ensure global consistency of its processes, while strengthening its ability to report in real time across its entire enterprise.

“The global visibility afforded by adding SmartAudit and SmartCAPA users at the new sites in Cashel will enable Cordis to maintain enterprise-wide visibility to support the critical nature of audit control,” said Nikki Willett, Pilgrim’s Vice President of Marketing & Regulatory Products.  “Through their inherent flexibility, both SmartAudit and SmartCAPA will be well-suited for adaptation to Cordis’ newest operational requirements.”

Both SmartCAPA and SmartAudit are fully-integrated components of Pilgrim’s SmartSolve® suite of automated management solutions for compliance and quality.  In its entirety, SmartSolve provides a global solution for managing not only corrective and preventive actions and internal/external assessments, but also supports enterprise-wide complaint handling, document control, SOP enforcement, employee certification and training, equipment calibration and supplier quality management.

Presently, Cordis employees are undergoing system training on Pilgrim’s CAPA and audit management software to enable the new teams to be prepared for the Ireland facility’s opening in 2008.
