Tampa, FL – June 9, 2006 – Pilgrim Software, Inc., a world-wide leading provider of Enterprise Compliance and Quality Management (ECQM) Solutions, announces that Celgene Corp. has purchased Pilgrim’s SmartDoc software to enhance and facilitate its global documentation management processes.  Additionally, Pilgrim’s comprehensive, off-the-shelf validation packs will expedite the validation process of SmartDoc.

The adoption of SmartDoc is the second phase in the process of deploying Pilgrim’s SmartSolve suite at Celgene.  In December 2005, Celgene deployed Pilgrim’s SmartAudit software.  After recognizing the efficiencies gained with the first module, Celgene wanted to engage SmartDoc to overhaul its existing documentation processes so as to enhance its tracking capabilities and revision control, and reduce labor-intensive manual activities.
