Tampa, FL – August 29, 2006 – Pilgrim Software, Inc., a world-leading provider of Enterprise Compliance and Quality Management (ECQM) solutions, announced today that Animas Corporation has purchased additional implementation services for Pilgrim’s document and training management software modules.  Animas was recently acquired by Johnson & Johnson, and operates as a stand-alone entity reporting through Lifescan, Inc., another Johnson & Johnson company.  The software purchase supports Animas’ commitment to Pilgrim’s fully-integrated SmartSolve suite of products, which are being rapidly implemented due to the projected accelerated growth of the company.

With Pilgrim’s SmartDoc and SmartTrain modules, Animas, a producer of diabetes management equipment, will enhance its internal document management capabilities and coordination of its employee training activities.

As with all expanding companies, Animas has found that managing documents, including SOPs and drawings has become an ever-increasing challenge. Coordinating the efforts of the document management team, and enabling individual managers to identify training needs in a central, enterprise-wide repository, will result in a comprehensive solution to ensure an employee’s job readiness.
