Error/CAPA management is an integral part of the process control efforts conducted by blood banks, transfusion services and other organizations under cGMP regulations.  A single contaminated blood donation can spread infections throughout the world. A serious adverse drug-related event can initiate a product recall. Contaminated blood and unsafe products can affect the communities’ trust, can harm a patient, and can impact your company. In the continual quest for improving processes, an error/CAPA management program is itself a process that needs improvement, and we must strive to always close the circle of quality assurance. By detecting and reducing errors, quality and, therefore, patient safety and care improve.

Learn in this webinar, how an automated error/CAPA management system lowers risk and ensures the availability of a safe supply of life-saving products by:

  • Avoiding deviations from cGMP and industry regulations resulting in Biological Product Deviation Reports to the FDA
  • Implementing an active method to search for problems to uncover them further upstream, before they can have disastrous outcomes
  • Capture deviations from different sources in a consistent, centralized manner
  • Eliminate islands of information that lead to inconsistencies
  • Rapidly identify process & product failures to remain in compliance
  • Coordinate and provide visibility for causal analysis & corrective actions across all your locations
  • Reduce the cost of quality, scrap & waste
  • Dramatically reduce analysis, reporting time & improve management oversight

Join Andy Mayer from CBCSF and Pilgrim Software and learn how you can build “right first time” quality into your business processes. This will enable you to detect and reduce errors, improve the quality of your products and, ultimately, your patient care.
