Senior Consultant - Level 2

The Senior Consultant – Level 2 (Senior Consultant) will be responsible for the post-sale planning, scheduling, and implementation of software applications and delivery of related Professional Services. The Senior Consultant shall act as the focal point for project communications to ensure success of the project. The Senior Consultant will be responsible for the overall customer satisfaction for the assigned project. The Senior Consultant will also be responsible for coordination of all Pilgrim resources assigned to the project.

In addition to successful project management, the consultant will be able to perform training, consulting, report writing, needs analysis, on-site and off-site for the customer for all of the Pilgrim products in all of the different platforms and databases as supported by Pilgrim Software, Inc.  The Senior Consultant will report directly to the Director of Professional Services Worldwide.

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technical related field, and/or five years experience in Project Management

* A minimum of five years consulting experience in a major consulting firm

* Experience in Life Science industry (i.e. pharmaceutical, medical devices, biotechnology, etc.) is strongly desirable

* Strong manufacturing background (i.e. experience in a manufacturing environment and knowledge of the manufacturing process)

* International consulting experience with Fortune 500 clients is desired

* Several years of consulting and training experience in technology (enterprise software implementation)

* Some service sales background (selling services)

* Strong communications, project management, and problem-solving skills

* Able to handle software project management

* Technically competent (strong understanding of software, hardware, networks, etc.)

* Familiarity with Quality processes (TQM, Six Sigma, ISO, CMM, etc.)

* Able to work with customers’ project managers and senior managers

* .NET background is desired

* Willingness to travel (domestic and international)

* This position may require citizenship for purposes of obtaining clearances at customer locations

* Experience working with or managing SQL Server or Oracle database is a plus

* Familiarity with the FDA regulated industry is a plus
