Configuration/Release Engineer

Design, develop, update and test modules of proprietary quality management and business automation software.  Assist technical writers and quality control engineers in understanding projects.  Assist technical support and customers with user problems.  Analyze new products and their functionality to determine how products can be enhanced.  Tools: Q & MIS; Microsoft.Net; Visual Basic.Net; ASP.net; SQL; Oracle.


The ideal candidate will possess the following:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or any Engineering Field
• Six months of experience in the job offered or as an Electronics Engineering Intern or  Information Technology Instructor required
• Education or prior experience must include: SQL; Visual Basic.Net; ASP.Net
• Must have strong interest in technical research
• Familiarity with MSSQL and Oracle databases
• Be highly analytical, task oriented, able to finish projects on time, detail oriented, and a team player
• Strong written and oral communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
• Experience with Web application development and deployment is a plus
• Understanding of software engineering processes and standards such as CMM, ISO9000-3 is a plus
