The Sr. Software Engineer designs, develops, and tests software applications for the company, assists Technical Writers and Quality Control Engineers in understanding products, and assists Technical Support and customers with customer problems.
Requirements * Have a BS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering * Have a minimum of 5 years of working experience as a Software Developer with at least 3 years on Object Oriented environment * Have at least 3 years of experience in VB.net or C# or C++ or Java as Programming tools * Have experience with Visual Studio Tools (VB .net and ASP .net) * Experience with n-tier Web application development and deployment is a plus * Experience working with requirement analysis and system design is a plus * Experience in integration technology like MSMQ and BizTalk is a plus * Prior experience in Quality Control/Software testing and automated unit testing is a plus * Involved in software development related to business applications such as financial, manufacturing, inventory, accounting, insurance, etc. * Understand software engineering processes and standards such as CMM, ISO9000-3 * Familiar with MSSQL (Microsoft SQL Server), and Oracle * Have knowledge of full-scale systems development in a ?for profit" environment * Be highly analytical, task oriented, detail oriented and able to finish projects on time * Be positive, initiative and a team player * Possess strong written and oral communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
